The Sidelines

Early(er) mornings are not my favorite because

they make these weird days seem longer. The realization that this race has become more of a marathon than a sprint has begun to sink in. This could be torture for us sprinting humans.  We are having to slow down and we have no clue where the finish line could be. I would say, even those that pace their lives to a more, slow, “go the distance” style, are even wondering if that finish line will ever materialize. This race track has no map that can give us accurate answers but in scripture today I found some:

Hebrews 12:1
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses ... let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.”

#WeAreInThisTogetherApart

•Just because we are on different race courses doesn’t mean we aren’t running together.
•There are people on the sidelines cheering us on (those that ran this race before AND SURVIVED)
•We have support. The best support. Our medical people are in the front lines providing support with Divine super human strength and might. They are Heaven’s Army.

Today-Pray for your “huge crowd of witnesses”; survivors, healthcare workers, fellow runners and all your support.
